Merry Christmas

Over the next few days, I'm going to be busy with three family dinners, gift exchanging and drinking (water). With all the said goings on, I'm most likely going to be too busy to get on this thing and post anything.

So I leave you with the greatest Christmas song of all time. Word.

December 14th

On December 14th 1825, 3000 Russian troops marched and assembled in Senate Square, where they refused to give their allegiance to the new Tsar, Nicolas I.

181 one years later, to the day, The Decemberists gathered in Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom to a packed house.

It was special.

Shines When The Sunset Shifts

My day was kind of an enigma. If days can even be enigmas.

I mean, I woke up and had a pretty wonderful breakfast with my sometimes best friend and always lifemate. I sat and ate my crepes all the while thinking how I missed hanging out with her and talking about nothing with her. I'm pretty sure we are two of the most self flattering people of all time, but I like it that way.

I proceeded to go to work and get robbed. Literally, robbed.

Jacket I got in Seattle (stolen)

Credit cards (stolen)

$100 cash (stolen)

It was great. I mean, honestly, I walk in the door, get changed, start work and then get a phone call saying my ID had been recovered down the street with a couple of other things. This is all in a 15 minute span.

I then proceeded to make $250 in tips.

And now I can't sleep. Again.

I Don't Sleep Till It's Light

My phone is playing tricks on me. Apparently people are calling me and it's not getting through. It goes to my answering machine, but doesn't ring. Text messages are being lost.

People, please just leave a message. Don't complain when I see you that I didn't call you back, when you didn't even leave a message in the first place.

Pffft.

On a different note, coming in second in the poker game last night is starting to piss me off. I was happy at first because I won some money, but the more and more I think about it, the more and more I want to punch a baby in the face. Not that I didn't want to do that before, I just need to release some pent up aggression.

Call me. Leave a message. Make it funny.

Word.

(oh and Tuesday is day off number 2 in the past 20 days, I plan on doing something tomorrow night and on Tuesday to celebrate, so, seriously, call me)

I'm going to post something worthwhile a little later. If not tonight, tomorrow.

For now, you get the greatest picture of all time number 1532.
